Weekly Torah Readings

Every Shabbat (Saturday) we join with thousands of Believers around the world reading the same portion of the Torah (first 5 Books of Moshe), Haftarah (the Prophets) and the Gospels. The calendar of “Weekly Torah Readings” gives you the reading for the next Shabbat coming up. You can break up the readings by doing a portion every day. The Complete Jewish Bible, by David Stern, has the daily portions marked out for you in Roman numerals, to make it easy to know what to read, and when.

Appointed Times and Meetings

In Leviticus 23:2, G-d Himself says to Moshe (Moses): "Tell the people of Isra'el: 'The designated times of Adonai which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times” – (CJB*). And again, in verse 14, He says: “this is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live” – (CJB*). The holy days and festivals that Judaism observes today are not only Jewish festivals, they are G-d’s Appointed Times and He said that they are permanent, which means that they were not done away with, and will not be, until heaven and earth pass away.

At Derech HaMashiach, we encourage Believers from every affiliation to observe G-d’s designated times as holy times, even if you continue to observe the special days that Christendom has established. If we are truly grafted into Israel, then G-d’s designated times will be ours as well.

The “Appointed Times and Meetings” calendar  below, shows the dates that these holy days fall on.

On this calendar, you will also find the session times when Derech HaMashiach, House of Messianic Learning, will hold their regular study meetings, and any other special occassions, such as membership classes.
